Securing the configuration

By default, only members of the Explorer server's Administrators group are allowed to modify the client application configuration. You may change the group, add groups, and grant privileges to individual users. Configuration privileges are granted to all specified users and groups.

To modify the configuration security:

1. Open the web.config file in any text editor. By default, the file is located in C:\inetpub\wwwroot\ExplorerClient.
2. In the appSettings section of the file, modify the values of the settings described in the following table.

Note    User and group names must be specified as <Domain>\<Name>.

3. Save your changes and close the file.
